Abstract: In the present paper, we use the classical dynamical coupled theory, Lord-Shulman theory with one relaxation time, and Green-Lindsay with two relaxation times of thermoelasticity to study the influence of magnetic field on piezo-thermoelastic medium. The normal mode method is used to transfer partial differential equation to an ordinary differential equation. Numerical computations are performed for a specific material and the results obtained are represented graphically. A comparison is made between the three theories in the absence and presence of a magnetic field. The presence of magnetic field plays an important role on all physical quantities.
